Competence centres for HR development

The first tender for the establishment and operation of competence centres for HR development for the period from 2010 until 2013 was published on August 6, 2010, in the amount of 2.750.000 €.

The tender is carried out within the framework of the European Social Fund, the purpose of which is to promote entrepreneurship and flexibility. The target group are companies and their employees.

Up to 10 approved projects receiving co-funding between 100.000,00 € and 500.000,00 €, will:

• Be in the area of HR development
• Encourage co-operation among companies within the framework of individual industries
• Develop a competence model for defining sectoral competence profiles for specific professions or work posts and
• Contribute to the reduction of deficits in the competencies of employees by providing target oriented trainings.

The deadline for application was September 30, 2010. Selection procedures are under way.
