The Fund provides programmes for co-funding education and training with the aim to promote the inclusion of companies and individuals in further education or training in order to achieve greater competitiveness and flexibility of employees.

As a general rule, the Fund covers the provided by external contractors in the Slovene territory or abroad. If working in Slovenia, external providers must register the relevant activity for education and/or training as stated in the Standard Classification of Activities.

For further co-funding of education and training programmes for employees a new tender is being prepared, which will be ready in 2011.
